It seemed like a good time to make a start menu since people are trying to get theirs back on Windows 8.
A skin for those of us who hide the taskbar, but still want access to most of it's functions.

Edit Settings.inc to change Drive and App Paths, Use Settings Window for the themes.
Launcher on First Screen, Start Menu on Second (click big arrow)

Requires at least Rainmeter-2.5-r1761-beta [link]

Features:

- 30 Themes and 12 Icon Themes with Theme switcher!!

- Web Search

- Many links and commands

- Now uses new FileView plugin

- *Vista + Win7 Only* 3D Task Switcher Button

- *Win8 Only* Click on "Start" text to open list of Metro Apps.

k, I'm already working on incorporating some of the stuff you've update into v2.0 of my Start Menu. If all goes well 2.0 will be released sometime next week.

Yeah, the indexing will start at 1 instead of 0 for Fileview. I have it all done I'm just waiting for the new plugin. Hopefully after this update I won't need to update it for a while.

Hey, virginityrocks here from the forum. I suggest adding OnRefreshAction=!CommandMeasure MeasureSearchInput "ExecuteBatch 1" to the [Rainmeter] section of MultiStart.ini to replicate the functionality of the Start Menu where when it opens, you can immediately start typing a search.

Quick question, do you mind if I use and upload your start menu (which full credit for the skin going to you and those people listed in your credits) in a program that allows Windows 8 users to partially bring back their start menu and start orb?
